Calling
GG2G a “green” company encompasses many
things. We thought it important to let our customers
know that we put our money where our mouth is.
All bags in our ReVinylized® collection are made
from recycled billboards and lined with organic cotton
or other sustainable materials. A percentage of the
profits from this collection go to Save the Sound, a
local environmental non-profit. We estimate that we
have prevented many thousands of pounds (and counting)
of billboards from ending up in the landfill.
All of our products are made in Milford, CT,
USA
We participate in “CTCleanEnergyOptions”
which is a voluntary program that supports clean, renewable
energy produced from natural means such as wind, water
and other sources.
We make donations in monetary or product form to non-profit
organizations such as the Sound
Waters, American
Red Cross, the Cardinal
Shehan Center, Get
In Touch Foundation, Making Woofie, Save
the Sound, Scholarship
Fundraiser for Milford Network of Executive Women,
Environmental
Concerns Coalition, Beardsley
Zoo, Boys
and Girls Village, Love
Makes a Family, Mercy
Center and Unity Charter School.
We are members of Green America, an organization whose
mission is to harness economic power, the strength of
consumers, investors, and businesses to create a socially-just
and environmentally-sustainable society.
In addition our products are shipped in recycled packaging
and
most of our marketing materials are printed on recycled
paper.
